Vibe Care are recruiting experienced Support Workers in the Wantage area, with a passion for working with adults with learning disabilities and autism. What skills and experience are we looking for in candidates?
- Minimum of 12 months experience supporting adults with learning disabilities, autism & complex needs
- Dedicated, honest, reliable and compassionate nature
- Excellent communication skills
- Experience supporting individuals with behaviours that challenge
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
Responsibilities:
- Provide support to individuals with physical and intellectual disabilities
- Provide companionship and emotional support to clients
- Daily tasks will often include personal care, meal preparation and moving and assisting
- Accompanying clients to medical appointments and social outings
- Monitor and report any changes in clients' behaviour or health conditions
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of client interactions and progress
