Working with Sodexo at St George's School in Windsor as a Front of House Assistant, you will be the first to make an impression at the school, ensuring they receive our 5* outstanding service! You will enhance the environment for the school by setting, clearing, and cleaning the tables. Your commitment to providing excellent customer service has an immense impact on others. What you’ll do:

  • Clean down of the breakfast service, ensuring all counters, tables and chairs are left spotless
  • Carry out front‑of‑house and back‑of‑house cleaning duties
  • Put away all items from service trolleys (shared with another team member)
  • Prepare sandwiches and fresh fruit as required each da
  • Support the lunchtime service
  • Serve food from the counters during lunch
  • Clear and clean all counters, tables and chairs after lunch service
  • Sweep and mop the dining room floor to maintain a clean and safe environment

What you bring:

  • Prior experience in banqueting, catering, or hospitality is ideal, however, not essential.
  • Understanding of food hygiene
  • Ability to deliver outstanding customer service skills
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Demonstrate the ability to show precision and meticulous attention to detail
  • The ability to demonstrate great teamwork

**Equated pay (sometimes known as spread-over pay) is a method of paying you for your contracted hours, working weeks and holiday pay spread over 12 months instead of just receiving pay during the months that you work and none during the school closures/non-working weeks. This means that you get paid equal amounts of pay every month. Further information will be supplied at interview stage.**
