Healthcare Assistant – Night Shifts – Up to £13.50
Set within a beautifully converted house - It has been thoughtfully extended to retain its character, this nursing and dementia care home provides personal and clinical care for older adults. As a Healthcare Assistant, you will deliver consistent, hands-on support throughout the night, ensuring residents remain safe, comfortable, and well cared for.
Before You Apply
- A Level 2 qualification in Health and Social Care (or above) is required.
- Recent experience working in a care home with older adults is essential.
- This role involves night work and supporting residents living with dementia.

- Up to £13.50 per hour
- Night shifts, 7:00pm–7:00am

What You’ll Need
- Level 2 Health and Social Care qualification (or above)
- Experience as a Healthcare Assistant within a care home
- Understanding of dementia care and safeguarding
- Confidence delivering personal care independently at night
What You’ll Do
- Provide personal care, including continence care and repositioning
- Support residents living with dementia using person-centred approaches
- Monitor wellbeing and report changes to the nurse in charge
- Complete accurate night records and handovers
- Maintain a calm and safe environment during overnight hours
- Assist with early morning routines and preparation for day staff
