Summary
A Treatment Practitioner is Drugs and Alcohol Worker for Young People and Adolescent Young Adults between 11- and 25-year-old.
We are looking for a motivated and experienced person to build working relationships to address substance misuse and related issues. You will hold a caseload and complete comprehensive substance misuse use assessments, care-planning and deliver evidence-based psycho-social interventions which help reduce risk, inform and motivate.
Previous experience of case work that involves substance misuse in child welfare, family support or child protection arenas is essential.
You will have excellent communication and negotiation skills with a commitment to work collaboratively with partners across the children’s workforce ensuring delivery of integrated provision. You will be informed and able to promote and safeguard the welfare of children, young people and/or vulnerable adults at all times.
