Summary

Third Space is a collection of luxury health clubs across London, each unique in style but united by one mission: To be the best health club in the world in the eyes of our members. It’s our people that bring these spaces to life, and with new clubs opening and a strong Employee Value Proposition, now is the time to join our People team as we strive to be Best in Class. In December 2025, we opened The Whiteley, club number 14. Our plan for the next five years is to more than double.

As we continue to grow, our people remain at the centre of everything. We’re now looking for an experienced and strategically-minded People Partner to join our team. This role sits at the heart of our organisation, working closely with General Managers, Heads of Department, and the wider People team to deliver a forward‑thinking People Agenda that supports both our people and our growth ambitions.

This is a true generalist position with real scope to influence, shape, and elevate how we operate. You’ll act as a trusted advisor, a strategic challenger, and a catalyst for continuous improvement across our clubs.

Responsibilities

Business Partnering & Strategic Insight

  • Build strong, credible relationships with senior leaders, becoming a go‑to partner for coaching, consultation, and decision support.
  • Influence thinking at all levels, using data‑driven insights to identify trends, diagnose challenges, and shape people strategies that drive performance and engagement.
  • Translate organisational priorities into actionable people plans, ensuring leaders are equipped to deliver them.

Talent, Capability & Culture

  • Champion a high‑performance, feedback‑driven culture, ensuring talent planning, succession, and development are embedded into everyday leadership.
  • Partner with L&D and Talent Acquisition to anticipate future capability needs and design initiatives that strengthen our talent pipeline.
  • Support leaders in building diverse, inclusive, and high‑impact teams.

Employee Relations & Leadership Enablement

  • Provide balanced, pragmatic, and commercially-aware advice across the full spectrum of ER matters.
  • Manage cases end‑to‑end with confidence and clarity, ensuring fair outcomes and minimising risk.
  • Deliver training and coaching that builds leadership capability, enabling managers to navigate complexity and prevent issues before they arise.

People Team Collaboration & Continuous Improvement

  • Contribute to cross‑functional People projects, bringing fresh thinking and a solutions‑focused mindset.
  • Identify opportunities to streamline processes, enhance employee experience, and strengthen operational excellence as we scale.
  • Act as a culture carrier, ensuring our values are reflected in how we work and how we grow.

About You

  • Broad experience across the full employee lifecycle, with strong ER case management capability.
  • Deep understanding of employment law, paired with emotional intelligence, sound judgement, and the ability to operate confidently in the grey.
  • Comfortable using people data and insights to shape strategy, influence decisions, and measure impact.
  • A growth mindset: curious, proactive, and energised by improving processes, elevating standards, and helping us get better as we get bigger.
