Young Persons Support Worker
Salary: £16.50-17 per hour Umbrella
Hours: 37.5 per week - Shift Worker
Location: Birmingham, Moseley
Contract: Temporary to permanent - 12 weeks initially
Are you passionate about helping young people build brighter futures?
We're looking for a motivated and caring Young Persons Support Worker to join in Birmingham, supporting 16-25-year-olds who are homeless or at risk of homelessness to move towards independent living.
What You'll Do as a Young Persons Support Worker
You'll work closely with young people to:

Create personalised support plans that build confidence, skills, and resilience.

Deliver one-to-one and group sessions to develop life skills and prepare for work or education.

Support access to safe housing, health services, benefits, and financial stability.

Help young people manage tenancies, budgets, and day-to-day challenges.

Work alongside local partners to make sure every young person gets the right help at the right time.
You'll bring:

Experience supporting young people or vulnerable groups in housing, youth work, or social care settings.

A calm, empathetic approach and strong communication skills.

Flexibility to work some evenings and weekends.

A genuine commitment to equality, inclusion, and positive change.
