CQC Registered Branch Manager - Job Description
As the CQC Registered Branch Manager for Prestige Nursing & Care Dartford, you will lead the branch to deliver safe, effective and person‑centred care. You will be responsible for ensuring full compliance with CQC regulations and all legislative and quality standards. You will oversee daily operations, staff management, client relationships and business performance to ensure the branch meets its KPIs and maintains excellent care standards.
Key Responsibilities: Maintain CQC Registered Manager status and ensure the service meets all regulatory, ISO and legislative requirements. Manage day‑to‑day branch operations to ensure efficient and cost‑effective service delivery. Oversee staff scheduling, care coordination and accurate processing of timesheets. Lead and support Field Care Supervisors and branch staff, identifying training and development needs. Manage and resolve complaints professionally. Maintain accurate records and ensure audits, documentation and compliance processes are completed to a high standard. Build strong relationships with clients, families and external partners. Oversee assessments, reviews and care planning to ensure person‑centred, safe care. Present services to prospective clients and promote the branch in the community. Monitor branch performance, meet business targets and support revenue growth. Participate in on‑call duties as required.
Skills and Experience: Experience as a Registered Manager in domiciliary or homecare services is essential. Strong knowledge of CQC requirements, care legislation and quality standards. Leadership and team management experience with the ability to motivate and develop staff. Excellent organisational, communication and decision‑making skills. Ability to manage performance, resolve issues and maintain service quality. Strong client relationship skills and a commitment to high‑quality, person‑centred care. Confident IT user with experience of care management or rostering systems. Self‑motivated, professional and able to work under pressure.
