Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Deputy Manager to join our care home in Garforth, Leeds. The successful candidate will play a vital role in supporting the management team to deliver high-quality care, ensuring the well-being of residents, and maintaining compliance with all regulatory standards. This role offers an excellent opportunity for individuals with experience in dementia care to develop their leadership skills within a compassionate environment.

Duties

Assist the Manager in overseeing daily operations of the care home, ensuring smooth and efficient service delivery
Supervise and support care staff, fostering a positive team environment and promoting best practices in senior and dementia care
Contribute to the development and review of personalised care plans, including Alzheimer’s and dementia-specific programmes
Ensure medication administration is carried out accurately and in accordance with prescribed protocols
Monitor resident health and wellbeing, responding appropriately to any changes or concerns
Lead by example in delivering compassionate, person-centred care that respects residents’ dignity and independence
Assist with staff training and development initiatives to maintain high standards of care
Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations, safeguarding procedures, and legal requirements within the care home setting
