The Bolton Referral and Assessment Hub are looking for a Team Manager to provide day‑to‑day leadership and help shape the future of our evolving service.
The Hub is home to a welcoming, multidisciplinary team of psychiatrists and mental health practitioners who carry out holistic mental health assessments for individuals referred by GPs and other primary care providers. We pride ourselves on delivering a responsive, reassuring service for both referrers and the people they support, ensuring timely appointments based on clinical need.
As the service undergoes organisational change, the Team Manager will play a pivotal role in guiding the team through transition while maintaining the high standards of care and professionalism that define the Hub. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who embraces innovation, leads with confidence, and is committed to supporting both staff and service users.
· The Band 7 Team Manager will provide the operational day to day management and leadership of the Referral and Assessment Hub, they will be able to provide clinical guidance and leadership as required. Support the team to develop and implement changes within the team in line with community transformation model of care and the NHS Long Term Plan.
· They will oversee the rota, ensuring 9am – 7pm, 7 days a week cover, ensuring that an integrated, flexible, and service user-focused service is provided.
· They will also lead on all issues related to service development. They will be responsible for providing clinical leadership, offering support and guidance to clinicians in the risk assessments and discharge planning process.
· They will work effectively with partner organisations.
· They will support the Directorate Bronze on call rota.
