Job Description:

We are currently recruiting for a reliable and hardworking Cleaner to join our team atHMRC Exeter.You will be responsible for delivering high standards of cleaning across a court building, ensuring a safe, clean, and welcoming environment at all times.

What You’ll Do:

  • Carry out cleaning duties as directed by the Supervisor / Soft Services Manager

  • Maintain high standards of cleanliness and personal presentation (uniform provided)

  • Ensure all areas are cleaned efficiently and to required standards

  • Follow all Health & Safety and COSHH regulations

  • Use cleaning chemicals and equipment safely (as trained)

  • Report faults, defects, and H&S concerns immediately

  • Display and remove wet floor signage as required

  • Maintain cleaning stores and equipment in a safe, tidy condition

  • Monitor stock levels and report shortages

  • Provide cover during sickness and annual leave

  • Maintain confidentiality at all times

What You Bring:

  • Previous cleaning experience preferred

  • Strong attention to detail

  • Customer service experience

  • Good understanding of health & safety procedures

  • Reliable, responsible, and able to work independently

  • Commitment to delivering consistent service standards
