We are looking for a motivated and enthusiastic Electrical Engineerto join our Hard FM team at HMRC Glasgow, East Kilbride, G79 1AA. Reporting to the Hard FM Supervisor, you will be responsible for delivering day-to-day maintenance across a regional cluster, ensuring safe, compliant, and high-quality service delivery at all times.

This is a hands-on role maintaining modern commercial facilities while supporting 100% statutory compliance and outstanding client service.

What You’ll Do
  • Deliver planned and reactive electrical maintenance across M&E systems

  • Diagnose faults and complete repairs safely and efficiently

  • Ensure statutory compliance and accurate CAFM/CMMS updates

  • Work with subcontractors and support minor works/projects

  • Follow H&S, RAMS and COSHH requirements at all times

  • Complete helpdesk tasks within SLA and escalate risks where required

  • Support apprentices and maintain professional client relationships

  • Participate in on-call and occasional out-of-hours rota

What We’re Looking For

Essential:

  • NVQ Level 3 Electrical (or equivalent)

  • City & Guilds Inspection & Testing Level 3

  • Minimum 2 years’ relevant experience

  • Strong knowledge of electrical compliance and safe systems of work

  • Full UK driving licence

  • IT literate (Microsoft Office & CMMS systems)

  • Ability to work independently and manage workload effectively

Desirable:

  • Experience in Hard FM / Property Maintenance

  • Previous AP/CP appointment

  • Knowledge of CDM Regulations

  • Experience working with subcontractors
