We are looking for a motivated and enthusiastic Electrical Engineerto join our Hard FM team at HMRC Glasgow, East Kilbride, G79 1AA. Reporting to the Hard FM Supervisor, you will be responsible for delivering day-to-day maintenance across a regional cluster, ensuring safe, compliant, and high-quality service delivery at all times.
This is a hands-on role maintaining modern commercial facilities while supporting 100% statutory compliance and outstanding client service.
What You’ll DoDeliver planned and reactive electrical maintenance across M&E systems
Diagnose faults and complete repairs safely and efficiently
Ensure statutory compliance and accurate CAFM/CMMS updates
Work with subcontractors and support minor works/projects
Follow H&S, RAMS and COSHH requirements at all times
Complete helpdesk tasks within SLA and escalate risks where required
Support apprentices and maintain professional client relationships
Participate in on-call and occasional out-of-hours rota
Essential:
NVQ Level 3 Electrical (or equivalent)
City & Guilds Inspection & Testing Level 3
Minimum 2 years’ relevant experience
Strong knowledge of electrical compliance and safe systems of work
Full UK driving licence
IT literate (Microsoft Office & CMMS systems)
Ability to work independently and manage workload effectively
Desirable:
Experience in Hard FM / Property Maintenance
Previous AP/CP appointment
Knowledge of CDM Regulations
Experience working with subcontractors
