We are seeking a dedicated Secondary PE Teacher who combines effective behaviour management with creativity and a nurturing approach. The successful candidate will be committed to exceeding expectations, embedding themselves within the school community and collaborating with a forward-thinking team to deliver an innovative curriculum, maintain high standards, and foster a lifelong love of learning among all pupils.
Key Responsibilities
• Deliver high-quality Physical Education lessons aligned with the Curriculum for Wales framework.
• Plan and assess effectively to meet the diverse needs of all learners, including those with additional learning requirements.
• Maintain excellent classroom and behaviour management to cultivate a positive and inclusive learning environment.
• Work collaboratively with colleagues to develop, review, and enhance the curriculum.
• Uphold high expectations for all pupils, encouraging engagement, achievement, and personal growth.
Candidate Requirements
• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
• A specialism in sport or Physical Education.
• Demonstrated excellence in classroom and behaviour management.
• Familiarity with the Curriculum for Wales and its requirements.
• Strong skills in planning and assessment processes.
• Ability to confidently teach across multiple subjects or disciplines is advantageous.
