Summary
The Hounslow Children’s Speech and Language Therapy Team are seekingan enthusiastic and innovative Band 6 Specialist Speech and Language Therapist (SLT) to work in the Specialist Centres and Units Team.
The Specialist Centres and Units Team deliver high‑quality speech and language therapy to school‑aged children and young people from Reception through to 18 years old. We work across a range of specialist centres attached to mainstream schools that support pupils with diverse special educational needs. These include (but are not limited to) Autism, Moderate Learning Disabilities, Physical Disabilities, Deafness or Hearing Impairment, Visual Impairment, and Speech, Language and Communication Needs.

We are looking for an SLT who is committed to providing high quality and responsive support to children and young people with speech, language and communication needs in Specialist Centres. Your role will be to ensure the delivery of EHCP provision whilstproviding specialist clinical decision-making, including assessment, differential diagnosis, treatment, evaluation and general independent management of a diverse and complex caseload.Experience in Augmentative and Alternative Communication is desirable.
You will be working closely as part of a multidisciplinary team, including families, peers and professionals across both health and education settings, to support children and young people across the Hounslow borough.
