Location: Deeside
Pay: £16.57 per hour

Schedule

• Monday – Thursday: 08:00 – 17:00
  
• Friday: 08:00 – 13:00
  

  Job Summary

  We are recruiting for an experienced Fabricator Welder, to manufacture a range of sub-components from profiles and sections. These components will undergo post surface treatment before being assembled into machinery products.

  Duties and Responsibilities

  • Follow all Health, Safety and Quality standards, including correct use of PPE, RPE and LEV.
    
  • Fabricate components using sections and plate materials ranging from 4mm to 30mm+ thickness.
    
  • Carry out JIG work where required.
    
  • Read and work from technical drawings, ensuring tolerances are met.
    
  • Identify and report faults or production issues promptly.
    
  • Maintain clean and safe working areas.
    
  • Complete production inspection records.
    
  • Monitor stock levels and report shortages to maintain workflow.
    

    Requirements

    • Previous factory production experience (Essential)
      
    • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings (Essential)
      
    • Knowledge of fabrication and MAGS welding (Mild Steel) (Essential)
      
    • Experience using workshop machinery including Band Saw and Pedestal Drill (Essential)
      
    • JIG work experience (Advantageous)
      
    • Strong teamwork, attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines
      

      Qualifications

      • Time Served: City & Guilds Level 3 in Fabrication & Welding (or equivalent)
        
      • 5 GCSEs or equivalent
        
      • Coded welding qualifications (Advantageous)
