Trainee Surveyor - Long Term Opportunity
MSSI Group Ltd | NW10 6DNMSSI Group Ltd are currently recruiting on behalf of the SCS Surveying team for 6 motivated individuals to join a long-term infrastructure project based in NW10 6DN. This is an excellent opportunity for anyone looking to build a long-term career as a Surveyor within the construction industry.
We are looking for candidates with construction experience - ideally in a surveying capacity - although this is not essential. If you are reliable, eager to learn and serious about developing your career, this role offers structured training and real progression into a professional Surveyor position.
The Role
This is a hands-on position supporting an experienced Surveyor team on a major project. Successful candidates will work alongside senior Surveyor professionals, gain practical site experience while receiving ongoing training in land surveying, setting out, and construction measurement.
This is not just a job - it is a long-term career pathway. You will be trained to develop the technical skills required to become a qualified Surveyor, with opportunities to grow within the team as your experience increases.
What We're Looking For
- Previous construction experience (surveying experience advantageous but not essential)
- Strong work ethic and willingness to learn
- Ability to work outdoors in a site-based environment
- Good communication and teamwork skills
- Minimum requirement: Green CSCS Card
- Driving licence helpful but not essential
All candidates must attend an interview. Strong CVs are required.
Working Hours
- Paid 10 hours per day, Monday to Friday
- Likely to increase to 10.5-11 hours per day during summer months
- Weekend work available
- Very long-term opportunity
Pay Rates (PAYE)
- £16.06 per hour - First 39 hours
- £24.09 per hour - Overtime (after 39 hours)
- Saturday:
- First 4 hours - £24.09 per hour
- After 4 hours - £32.14 per hour
