• Provide Reception Services and a full administrative support to the dental
• Be able to travel to other sites to provide cover as needed to support the wider service.
• The post holder will be required to possess a pleasant manner, good communication and organisational skills
As part of this job role you will be expected to undertake a Customer Service Level 2 apprenticeship.
Due to the current Government eligibility criteria for Government funded Apprenticeship schemes, we are currently only able to accept applications from candidates who have been resident in the UK for the for the last 3 years. We are unable to accept anybody who is currently on a funded programme.
An Initial Assessment, as part of the Apprenticeship enrolment process will be required to be completed to ascertain what level Numeracy, Literacy and ICT you are currently working at to ensure you are eligible to undertake an Apprenticeship programme. If you have already achieved English & Math’s at GCSE (Grade A-C/4-9) or Functional Skills Level 2, this can be transferred over, with evidence of achievement.
• Perform reception duties, including assisting members of the public in person and over the telephone. Accurately record and relay messages to relevant staff members, and arrange patient appointments Dentally Dental Software. Manage the ordering of stationery supplies and sundries for the Dental Centres. Carry out routine and non-routine audio and copy typing of correspondence, memos, and other documents using Dentally and Microsoft Office applications. Receive and distribute internal and external mail, and maintain filing systems for the Dental Department. Serve a point of contact for the Trust’s works department regarding building repairs and maintenance, liaising with the Dental Administrator as required. Undertake additional office tasks such as photocopying, faxing, and operating other office equipment. Perform any other duties or responsibilities as directed by the Dental Administrator.

We are looking for a conscientious and adaptable person to join our team providing reception and administrative support to our dental clinics. You should possess excellent communication skills and be able comfortable using computer systems. You will be an effective team player. You will be receiving patients and visitors into the Dental Service and will have the ability to project an efficient, helpful and friendly manner when dealing with members of the public.
