Are you ready to advance your career in a dynamic, patient-centered environment? We are seeking an experienced and passionate Senior Specialist Nurse or Senior Specialist Practitioner to join our Bone Marrow Transplant service at Churchill Hospital. The service provides Bone Marrow Transplants and Advanced Cellular Therapies to patients throughout the Thames Valley region. The team comprises nursing staff, medical professionals as well as colleagues across the MDT. The nurses are integrated within both the Bone Marrow Transplant and Advanced Cellular Therapy services.

Main responsibilities:
• Deliver comprehensive clinical care, specialist advice, and support to patients undergoing bone marrow transplantation
• Work autonomously as a specialist practitioner, collaborating with the wider multidisciplinary team
• Administer, assess, and prescribe medications within your scope of practice
• Lead and supervise junior team members, supporting their development and wellbeing
• Demonstrate and develop proficiency across clinical, leadership, education, and research pillars

• Provide comprehensive, specialist clinical care and advice to patients in the Bone Marrow Transplant service. Work autonomously as a specialist practitioner, including administering, assessing, and prescribing medications within your scope of practice. Develop and deliver high-quality, practitioner-led clinics and support patients, families, and carers with sensitive and complex information.
• Work towards or maintain advanced practice through academic study (Level 7/Master’s) and workplace-based training. Demonstrate and develop proficiency across clinical, leadership, education, and research pillars, supported by clinical supervision and ongoing professional development.
