We are a family owned company, with many years experience. We have now expanded and opened a new dealership in Glossop.
We have a vacancy for an MOT Tester who will also help occasionally with non MOT work. We have a Four Bay with 6 ramps workshop plus a dedicated MOT Bay. The facility is excellent and offers a great working environment. It is a modern main dealer site and we have a great opportunity for the right candidate.
Skills & Experience:
Duties
• Carry out MOT tests on a variety of vehicles, Class 4 and 7, adhering strictly to VOSA standards
• Complete detailed reports and documentation of test results
• Identify any faults or issues requiring repair or further investigation
• Maintain accurate records of all inspections performed
• Assist in minor repairs or adjustments when necessary, using appropriate hand and power tools
Skills
• Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to understand vehicle systems and components
• Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools safely and effectively
• Ability to perform heavy lifting when handling vehicle parts or equipment
• Excellent attention to detail to identify faults accurately during inspections
We are offering between £33,000 and £42,000 depending upon experience and the candidate fitting the needs of the business, it is primarily a 5 day week with Saturdays as overtime. Some light mechanical work may be required.
