Location: The Oast Care Home. 2 Plains Avenue, Maidstone, Kent, ME15 7AT
Contracted hours: 24 Hours Weekly - 3 x Shifts , 7am to 4pm , on rolling rota to include every other weekend
Hourly rate of pay: £14 Per Hour

Responsibilities of the Cook Role:
• Provide a high standard.
• Ensure that the kitchen, food store and equipment is cleaned and maintained according to the kitchen cleaning schedule.
• Follow the Home’s menus ensuring special dietary needs are met.
Requirements of the Cook Role:
• Previous experience in cooking for large number of people
• City & Guilds 706-1 & 2 or NVQ equivalent levels 2 & 3. Certificate of basic food hygiene required but not essential as training will be given.
• A good all-round knowledge of Multi-Cultural Cuisine. Flexibility within the workplace to adapt menus according to client needs.
