Permanent Position

Workforce are recruiting on behalf of a well-established and growing engineering manufacturer operating within a project-led fabrication and assembly environment.

Due to continued expansion, we’re looking for a skilled Fabricator / Welder / Fitter to join a highly experienced team in a varied, hands-on permanent role.

This is NOT repetitive bench or jig work – you’ll see projects through from start to finish.

The Role

• 30% Welding & Fabrication / 70% Mechanical Fitting & Assembly

  
  

• MIG welding (TIG experience highly desirable)

  
  

• Fabrication of engineered structures

  
  

• Mechanical fitting and assembly of bespoke builds

  
  

• Working from detailed engineering drawings

  
  

• Covered outdoor workshop environment

  
  

• Close collaboration with a skilled engineering team

  • Experienced Fabricator / Welder / Fitter

    
    

  • Confident reading engineering drawings

    
    

  • Strong hands-on mechanical fitting skills

    
    

  • Able to work independently once trained

    
    

  • Positive, reliable team player

    
    

  • Experience within project-based or bespoke fabrication desirable

    
    

    What’s On Offer

    • £16.50 – £18.50 per hour (depending on experience)
