Summary
We are seeking a passionate, dynamic, and motivated Freelance / Associate Speech and Language Therapist to join our growing private practice. This role is ideal for a therapist who enjoys flexible working, mobile practice, and delivering high-quality, child-centred speech and language therapy across a variety of settings.
Role Overview:
You will provide speech and language therapy and assessment to children and young people aged 18 months to 18 years. Therapy sessions will be delivered in clients’ homes, schools, and clinic settings, depending on individual need.
Key Responsibilities:
Deliver high-quality paediatric speech and language therapy assessments and intervention
Develop bespoke, individualised therapy goals and programmes tailored to each child and family
Work collaboratively with parents, carers, schools, and other professionals
Carry out mobile work across homes, schools, and clinic environments
Maintain clear, accurate, and professional clinical records and reports
Manage your own caseload effectively within a private practice setting
Essential Requirements:
A relevant degree in Speech and Language Therapy
HCPC & RCSLT registration (or eligibility to register)
Minimum of 2 years’ paediatric experience desirable
Experience working with neurodiverse children
A full UK driving licence, access to a car, and appropriate insurance
Willingness to travel between settings as part of the role
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
A warm, energetic, and child-centred approach
