At Local Care Direct, we have an exciting opportunity for qualified Advanced Clinical Practitioners to join the team at King Street Walk in Centre. We are looking for enthusiastic and motivated candidates who already possesses the key attributes of advanced clinical practice. Successful candidates must be fully qualified ACPs in possession of an MSc in Advanced Clinical Practice or a Post Graduate Diploma in Advanced Clinical Practice. You will be part of an established, supportive and friendly team of Advanced Clinical Practitioners, and clinical support and supervision is available on site. The ideal candidate will have experience of working in an urgent care/ primary care setting and have experience of caring for adults and children. The advanced clinical practitioner will provide assessment and management of minor illnesses and injuries. They will have the ability to assess individual patients who present with urgent and primary care conditions, determine a differential diagnosis and initiate appropriate treatment providing evidence-based care to a high standard. We would also welcome applications from Advanced Clinical Practitioners candidates who may require further training to develop urgent care/primary care clinical skills and knowledge. King Street Walk in Centre is an Advanced Clinical Practitioner led service, open 7 days a week, 365 days a year, between the hours of 10.00-22.00 providing assessment, advice and treatment of minor illnesses and a selection of minor injuries. Competitive Hourly Rate: £29.02 in hours & £37.73 out of hours. Equivalent approximate full-time salary £ £56,589- £64,118 (depending on in/out of hours shifts). (In Hours = Monday to Friday 08.00 to 18.00 & Out of Hours = Monday to Friday 18.00 to 08.00 and all-day Saturday Sunday). Location: Local Care Direct, King Street Walk in Centre, 47 King Street, Wakefield, WF1 2SN. Working Pattern: Part-time or Full-time positions available. Available Shifts to be discussed at interview.
