Postholders will be supported to develop into specialists who will provide advice to senior managers, academics, professional services and student representatives. These posts will manage a varied and often complex workload, balancing multiple projects, competing priorities and deadlines.
Candidates may have experience from a variety of areas which may include quality and standards, curriculum development, student experience or support, student administration, academic governance or policy development.
It is an ideal opportunity to work at an institutional level, develop your regulatory and policy expertise, and gain experience of influencing change in a complex environment, while remaining closely connected to the student voice.
About you
You have experience of working in a large or complex organisation and can demonstrate strong planning skills, attention to detail and the ability to deliver to deadlines.
You bring a good understanding of the higher education environment, with experience in areas such as academic regulations, student and academic policy, teaching and learning initiatives and the student voice. While you may not have worked across all of these areas, you have the enthusiasm, skills and curiosity to build your knowledge quickly.
You are comfortable working with detailed information and producing and presenting clear reports and briefings for a range of audiences.
Where you will be working
In this role, you’ll be based at our modern Frenchay Campus
You’ll spend most of your time on campus, typically 3 days per week.
