  • Protect VolkerHighways' commercial position through proactive contract administration.
  • Deliver procurement activities and develop procurement schedules with the Project Manager.
  • Prepare clear, high‑quality subcontract documentation with defined scopes and responsibilities.
  • Manage accurate measurement of works, subcontract instructions, variations, contra‑charges, and final accounts.
  • Ensure compliance with commercial policy and contractual notice requirements.
  • Work closely with the Project Manager and site team to maintain commercial awareness and process adherence.
  • Mentor and support junior surveyors and wider project staff.
  • Support internal reviews through effective communication and timely action closure.
  • Maintain strong working relationships with clients, designers, and consultants.
  • Issue and manage client instructions, valuations, reporting formats, and forecast updates.
  • Provide excellent client service and ensure proper authorisation before additional works start.
  • Support programme planning, contract considerations, and design management during construction.
  • Attend design/project meetings and raise cost or programme‑impacting issues.
  • Promote adherence to HSEQ policies and encourage a strong safety culture across the project.
  • Assist with final account closure, subcontract settlements, retention recovery, and project archiving.
  • Manage defects resolution and oversee project close‑out obligations.
