Summary
About the Role:
- Deliver high-quality, tailored tuition sessions (1:1 or small groups)
- Support students with Special Educational Needs (SEN), adapting lessons to meet individual learning plans
- Plan and differentiate work to suit varying abilities and learning styles
- Support students in improving attainment, engagement, and confidence
- Provide feedback and track student progress
- Work collaboratively with parents, carers, and other professionals where required
The Ideal Candidate Will Have:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) - essential
- Proven experience working with SEN students - essential
- Experience teaching within UK schools
- Strong subject knowledge
- The ability to build positive relationships and engage learners with additional needs
- Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to apply for one)
- A patient, adaptable, and supportive approach
