A caring and inclusive Primary School in Hayes is seeking a 1:1 Learning Support Assistant (LSA) to provide dedicated support for a pupil with additional needs. This role focuses on building trust, supporting emotional regulation and helping the pupil access learning successfully throughout the school day.
The school has strong pastoral systems and a collaborative team approach.
Providing consistent 1:1 support for a pupil with SEND
Supporting learning within the classroom environment
Helping the pupil access the curriculum in a structured way
Supporting emotional regulation and positive behaviour
Working closely with the class teacher and SENCO
Experienced Learning Support Assistants
SEND Teaching Assistants with 1:1 experience
Graduates considering teaching or educational psychology
Individuals with a patient, nurturing and proactive approach
Experience supporting pupils with additional needs
Strong communication and relationship-building skills
Ability to follow structured support plans
Commitment to safeguarding and inclusion
Enhanced DBS on the update service, or willingness to obtain one
