Summary
Morgan Hunt are working closely with a college in South Manchester who are looking for x2 learning facilitators to join their support team. The role will be supporting students aged 16+ who are accessing a range of courses, both vocational and academic who have EHCP's.
The role will be based both inside and out of the classroom, with many students accessing internships and therefore the support will be provided offsite.
Students have varying needs, including autism, ADHD, SEMH needs and physical difficulties.
The Role
In this position, you will:
- Provide 1:1 and small-group support
- Use effective behaviour management and de-escalation strategies to maintain a calm and safe learning environment
- Encourage positive engagement in learning and structured daily routines
- Build trusting relationships that help pupils regulate emotions and develop resilience
- Work closely with teaching staff to deliver tailored, meaningful learning activities
- Promote emotional wellbeing, confidence and positive behaviour
About You
We're looking for someone who:
- Is confident managing challenging behaviours in a professional, measured way
- Remains calm, patient and consistent during heightened situations
- Has experience in SEN environments or brings transferable skills from youth work, care, sports coaching, mentoring or alternative provision
- Is resilient, reliable and genuinely motivated to help young people progress
Contract Details
· Temporary - Long Term
· Full & Part time hours available
· Monday - Friday 9am - 4pm
· Pay - £14+ (depending on experience)
