We are looking to appoint a newly qualified (ECT) or experienced teacher to join our staff team. This position is temporary, for maternity cover.
We are looking for someone who –
- has qualified teacher status
- has a commitment to promoting high standards and helping children to be the best that they can be
- has the potential to be a consistently good/outstanding role model in all aspects of school life
- has excellent behaviour and relationship management skills
- is able to prioritise their workload and school day effectively
- has the ability to communicate with the whole school community in a variety of situations
- has a sense of fun!
We are a very happy aspirational academy with high expectations and a strong commitment to improving children’s learning. The school has a dedicated and welcoming staff team. Our children are enthusiastic, creative and respond to challenge. We offer a friendly family orientated atmosphere in a village school. We are also part of St Matthew's Federation with Middleton CE VC Primary Academy leading to further opportunities to share good practice and expertise.

Working Hours
The exact working pattern will be agreed with the successful candidate at interview but will fall within our academy hours of Monday to Friday, 08:00 to 15:30.
