What skills and experience we're looking for

Teacher of Mathematics (MPR / UPR)

Permanent full time

Required from September 2026

(part time may be considered according to school need)

The Governors of this Church of England Academy are seeking to appoint an inspirational and highly motivated Teacher of Mathematics. The successful candidate will be pro-active, energetic and fully committed to enabling our young people to grow and flourish as unique individuals.

St Michael’s is a high achieving school that seeks to provide opportunities for all pupils to grow in body, mind and spirit. We are a high achieving school committed to the pursuit of academic excellence; in 2025 34.2% of all GCSE results were grade 7 or above, with 91.1% of pupils achieving grade 4 or above in both English and maths, and attainment 8 at 58.9 (equivalent to an average grade 6 in all subjects).
