SEMH Teaching Assistant - Secondary Setting - Horley
£22,000-£23,000 | Full-Time | Term Time

Do you have the resilience and dedication to support young people with SEMH needs?

We are looking for an experienced Teaching Assistant to work with secondary students requiring additional emotional and behavioural support.

Your Role:

  • Provide 1:1 mentoring and classroom support

  • Support students with emotional regulation and coping strategies

  • Assist with behaviour management and restorative approaches

  • Help students build confidence and re-engage with learning

What We're Looking For:

  • Experience with secondary SEMH learners

  • Strong communication skills

  • Patient, consistent and empathetic approach

  • Enhanced DBS (required)
