Must be a qualified engineer OR a qualified electrician with time served on BMS systems


Responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining control systems that regulate various aspects of a building's operations. This includes HVAC (heating, ventilation, and air conditioning), lighting controls, energy management systems, security systems and more.


To excel in this role, a BMS Controls Engineer needs to have a strong understanding of electrical engineering principles along with knowledge of programming languages. They must be able to analyse complex data sets and troubleshoot issues efficiently.


Moreover, a BMS Controls Engineer must possess excellent communication skills to collaborate effectively with other stakeholders including architects, contractors, and clients. Being detail-oriented is crucial when it comes to testing and commissioning control systems.
