Multi skilled Vehicle Technician (Franchise Dealership)

Monday to Friday 0800 - 1700 and 1 in 3 Saturday working 0800-1300

£34k - £36k DOE

My client who is a very busy, well established and reputable franchise dealership are looking for a talented Multi skilled Vehicle Technician to join their workshop team. If you're Level 3 qualified in automotive mechanics and confident working across petrol, diesel, and electric vehicles, this role gives you the chance to use your full skill set in a modern, well‑equipped environment.

As a Multi skilled Vehicle Technician you will be responsible for the following

  • Carrying out full servicing, maintenance, and mechanical repairs to manufacturer standards
  • Working confidently on petrol, diesel, and EV vehicles, including diagnostics and fault‑finding
  • Completing MOT tests if you are a qualified MOT Tester
  • Completing work to rectify MOT failures
  • Ensuring all work is completed efficiently, accurately, and with a strong focus on quality
  • Maintaining high standards of customer care and workshop professionalism
  • Following franchise processes and using dealer-level diagnostic equipment

To be considered for this role, applicants are required to have the following.

  • Level 3 qualification in Light Vehicle Maintenance & Repair (or equivalent)
  • Be educated to GCSE level 4 or above / Grade C or above
  • Have at least 2 years' experience of work in a vehicle servicing / MOT workshop
  • Strong experience in servicing vehicles - essential
  • MOT Tester qualification (desirable)
  • Experience of working within a Franchise dealership would be advantageous.
  • A proactive, reliable technician who takes pride in their work and who can work confidently within a team and on their own.
  • A desire to learn and train as new products enter the market - someone who wants a long-term career, not just a job.
  • Full UK driving licence.
