HR Advisor / Senior HR Advisor (6‑Month Contract)

Location: Aberdeen
Hours: Full-time, Monday - Friday
Contract: 6‑month temporary assignment

About the Opportunity

Search is recruiting on behalf of an extremely successful and rapidly growing organisation based in Aberdeen. We are seeking an experienced HR Advisor or Senior HR Advisor to lead a major people transition project.

You'll join a supportive HR team of four, working from a modern office space with free parking, free coffee, and a genuinely positive, collaborative work culture.

The Project

You will be the key HR focal point for the TUPE transfer of 36 employees joining the business due to an acquisition. This is a hands-on, highly visible role where you will:

  • Attend and represent the organisation in all TUPE consultations with employees, union representatives, and the outgoing employer.
  • Document and minute consultation meetings and provide clear written updates.
  • Manage all TUPE-related queries and maintain a comprehensive Q&A log.
  • Work with pensions/benefits specialists to ensure a smooth transition of existing benefits.
  • Set up transferring employees on internal HR and payroll systems; ensure accurate and compliant personnel files.
  • Prepare and issue all required TUPE and employment documentation.
  • Support operations with onboarding and integration of the transferring employees.
  • Collaborate with the outgoing employer on apprenticeship levy arrangements and training pathways where required.

Essential Experience

We are looking for someone with:

  • End-to-end TUPE management experience, including sole responsibility for previous transfer projects.
  • Proven trade union interaction experience.
  • Senior-level HR advisory experience within a large or complex organisation.
  • Experience within the energy, wind, or oil & gas sectors.
  • Flexibility and ability to travel to meetings and sites as required.

Why This Role?

  • Join a friendly, capable HR team (team of 4).
  • Enjoy a modern, comfortable office environment.
  • Benefit from free parking and great coffee.
  • Be part of an ambitious, expanding organisation with excellent culture.
  • Take full ownership of a business-critical change project.

Search is an equal opportunities recruiter and we welcome applications from all suitably skilled or qualified applicants, regardless of their race, sex, disability, religion/beliefs, sexual orientation or age
