Waste and Cleansing Supervisor needed in Rugby Paying £16.90 per hr ref 1687463

Full time hours on a temporary basis

Key Responsibilities

Supervise daily operations for waste collection, street cleansing, and environmental maintenance
Allocate work, plan staff rotas, and ensure resources are used efficiently
Carry out site inspections, monitor service performance, and ensure compliance with Health & Safety standards
Support staff with operational issues, vehicle checks, and risk assessments
Respond to service requests, missed collections, fly‑tipping, and other cleansing issues
Train, coach, and motivate operatives to deliver high‑quality services
Liaise with residents, businesses, contractors, and internal departments to resolve service concerns
Report defects, hazards, and equipment issues promptly
Maintain accurate records, service logs, and performance data
Assist in incident management, accident reporting, and enforcement‑related tasks where required
