Summary
Main responsibilities and duties
To:
1. Follow procedures for the storage and distribution of goods: Working with the Café Co-ordinator to ensure food safety practices are adhered to and robust systems are followed to capture stock deliveries, storage, rotation and distribution.
2. Follow procedures for effective food safety and hygiene.
3. Support the smooth and safe opening and closing of the café including setting up and cashing up at the end of the shift.
4. Assist with off-site deliveries.
5. Prepare, cook and serve good quality food and hot drinks for cafe and catering customers, on and off site
6. Uphold the highest standards of health and safety, cleanliness and professionalism and use your own initiative to respond quickly to issues or challenges that may arise when you are on duty.
7. Check that all café facilities, equipment, or furnishings are kept in good working order and report any damage to the Café Co-ordinator.
8. Respond promptly and professionally to any customer feedback, comments or complaints.
9. Attend and participate in team meetings, training and events as required.
10. Work outside normal office hours and at weekends as and when required.
11. To carry out work in such a way as to promote The Braunstone Foundations aims objectives and agreed policies.

Experience of working in events D
Knowledge
