Key Responsibilities
Team Leadership & Supervision
Lead and supervise restaurant and bar staff during shifts.
Delegate duties and ensure smooth service flow.
Train, coach, and mentor team members to maintain high service standards.
Conduct pre-shift briefings and communicate daily goals and updates.
Monitor staff performance and provide constructive feedback.
Guest Experience
Deliver outstanding customer service and ensure guest satisfaction.
Handle guest complaints and resolve issues professionally and promptly.
Build rapport with regular guests and promote a welcoming atmosphere.
Operations Management
Oversee opening and closing procedures.
Ensure compliance with food safety, hygiene, and alcohol service regulations.
Monitor stock levels and coordinate with management for ordering supplies.
Maintain cleanliness and presentation of restaurant and bar areas.
Ensure POS systems are used accurately and efficiently.
Sales & Financial Responsibility
Support upselling initiatives and drive revenue growth.
Monitor daily sales performance and labour costs.
Assist in achieving budget and KPI targets.
Health, Safety & Compliance
Ensure adherence to health and safety standards.
Enforce responsible alcohol service policies.
Maintain knowledge of local licensing regulations.
Requirements & Qualifications
Previous experience in a restaurant and/or bar supervisory role.
Strong leadership and communication skills.
Excellent customer service and problem-solving abilities.
Knowledge of food safety and alcohol service regulations.
Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
