  • Monitor compliance and risk issues, escalating appropriately to senior stakeholders.
  • Allocate work effectively based on capability, technical skill and profitability considerations.
  • Address complaints and risk matters swiftly and appropriately.

Technical & Client‑Facing Work:

  • Act as a key point of contact for insurer clients, demonstrating strong technical knowledge and commercial awareness.
  • Support business development activities, including client training, marketing events, clinics and shadowing days.
  • Manage your own caseload of pre‑litigated and litigated motor injury claims, delivering against KPIs and quality measures.
  • Maintain awareness of firm strategies and contribute positively to team culture.
  • Keep technical knowledge current through training.
  • Handle confidential information in line with firm data security standards.

  • Proven management ability with experience motivating, coaching and developing team members.
  • Excellent organisational skills with the ability to prioritise effectively and seek support where needed.
  • Strong analytical skills and the ability to identify anomalies in factual evidence.
  • Commercial awareness-knowing when to pursue a technical point and when not to.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the confidence to negotiate, engage clients and collaborate internally.
  • Personal resilience and the ability to manage competing pressures across team and personal caseloads.
  • A positive, approachable leadership style aligned to the firm's cultural values
  • Strong communication skills (written and verbal) and solid IT proficiency (Excel and Word)

What you'll get in return

  • Hybrid working of 3 days WFH.
  • Potentially remote working for those living further afield.
  • A well‑rounded benefits package including private medical insurance, income protection and discounted gym membership.
