The Best Connection - Chesterfield are looking for a practical, reliable technician to build, assemble, maintain, and deploy equipment in both the workshop and on site. You'll work in industrial environments, preparing equipment, attending site works, and supporting operations while following all HSE and quality procedures.
Key Responsibilities
- Assemble, manufacture, and maintain equipment
- Inspect, maintain, and repair tools and equipment
- Prepare equipment for site mobilisation
- Attend site works, including operations and support tasks
- Follow HSE procedures and company quality standards, keeping work areas clean and safe
- Complete all required documentation accurately
Requirements
- Mechanical aptitude and hands-on workshop/industrial experience
- Strong HSE awareness
- Able to work independently and as part of a team
- Willing to travel and work on site when needed
- Full UK driving licence
- Travel documentation permitting travel overseas
- No more than 6 points on driving licence
This role is suitable for entry level candidates as training will be provided but is also suitable for experienced candidates who have experience within the following
- Forklift truck operating
- Welding/Fabrication
- Site work (CSCS)
