We’re looking for a Lead HR People Business Partner who will support as we grow, to maintain our culture of “people-first”.

What will you do in the role of Lead HR People Business Partner?



Play a pivotal role in aligning our people strategy with operational needs ensuring the People team are a present partnership, not a backoffice function.





Be a Business Partner to various Managers across the business, working collaboratively with the operational teams.





Deputise for the People Operations Manager when required.





Support driving business success, culture, and development within individuals and teams.





Continuously monitor and review People policies and processes and propose changes where necessary.





Actively coach and develop our managers’ HR and cultural competency and knowledge in relation to employee relations activities, empowering and building confidence in the practicalities of our people-focussed policies and processes





Ensure timely and effective management of people issues including disciplinary and grievance cases, performance management, absence management and wellbeing / OH





Lead on change activity, including TUPE, supporting line management  





Partner with People Development to design and deliver training and coaching for our operational leaders





Support management in ensuring we treat everyone fairly and with respect, with open and honest communication channels, turning our culture vision into tangible actions





Analysing insight and translating data into effective and commercially focused evidence-based people solutions to influence strategic and leadership action





Undertake projects as and when required, focused on people-based solutions



What will you bring to the role of Lead HR People Business Partner?



You would describe yourself as pragmatic, a strong listener, reasonable with the ability to engage and secure buy in and understanding from Operations





Your experience has been working within an HR/ People function, where you can demonstrate a sound knowledge and level of expertise of employee relations and people-based issues, to deliver commercially sound solutions, through influence, collaboration, data driven insights and creating open communication channels.





As a business going through growth and change, you bring experience of working in a fast-paced environment, balancing a varied and high-volume workload





Proficient in various IT systems including Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook and Teams.





We welcome applications from experienced HR People Business Partners who ideally have their CIPD qualification, or similar, but not essential.
