Summary

Female Support Worker - Driver
Pay rate: Monday to Friday - £13.50, Saturday - £14.50 and Sundays £15.
Shift Pattern: Monday to Sunday availability (8am - 11pm) with sleep in's additional

We've got a rewarding opportunity for the right person to work with an individual living in their family home in Norwich.This person has a brain injury and poly trauma but this does not define them.More interestingly they have a great sense of humour and have lots of hobbies, particularly heading into the community.They love animals, having some pets of their own and they regularly volunteer at a local animal shelter.To make the most of amazing days out, you would be required to have a Full UK Driving License, Own Car and Business Insurance.

Enriching activities will be an important factor in your support, and you will bring a wonderfully empathetic approach to truly make a difference to this person’s life. You will also need to bring previous experience with you in the following:

  • Brain Injury
  • Rehabilitation
  • Companionship


What will your shift involve?

In this role, you will be providing high-quality care on a 2:1 basis, ensuring that the individual you support receives compassionate and attentive care tailored to their specific needs.Your responsibilities will include engaging with them in meaningful activities and taking them out in the community to promote their social interaction and well-being.Additionally, you will support with household tasks to maintain a clean and organized living environment that fosters comfort and independence.Clear and confident communication in their preferred manner will be essential to building a strong and trusting relationship.

What you’ll bring
We’re looking for people who already have experience in:

  • Complex Care
  • Spinal Cord Injury
  • Bowel Care (desirable but not essential)

Just as important is your ability to stay calm under pressure, communicate clearly, and build positive, trusting relationships.
