Administration Officer

Location: Plymouth, PO2 8BY
Working Pattern: Very flexible hybrid - 2 days in the office most weeks
Hours: hours between 9.00am - 5.00pm (flexibility required)
Contract: assignment until March 2027 (chance of an extension)
Clearance: Can start with a DBS in place but SC Clearance will be required to be processed alongside your assignment

Pay Rate: £14.48 per hour (paid weekly)

We are seeking a number of experienced administrators to provide support for our client's claims department. The roles will be dealing with both subject access requests, or personal data requests and onboarding new claims to support their organisations claims handlers.

The Role

You will play a central role in delivering professional, efficient and confidential support to the department.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Processing subject access and personal data requests. Updating databases and spreadsheets accordingly
  • Onboarding new claims applications onto the system
  • Cross referencing data across multiple software applications to ensure accurate information is recorded and held
  • Providing general administration support, which may include but not be limited to: email triaging, general correspondence and data base work

About You

To succeed in this role, you will be:

  • Confident working in a collaborative team environment
  • Comfortable handling sensitive and confidential information, any GDPR experience would be preferred but not essential, training will be given
  • Proactive, adaptable and able to manage competing priorities
  • Experienced in using Microsoft Office, SharePoint and MS Teams
