Crynodeb
A holistic approach WorkWell Workshop to support early intervention, in partnership with wider stakeholders such as VCSE, local authorities, community services, mental health and social sectors. A core MDT panel will facilitate the running of the workshops consisting of- Physiotherapist led exercise advice Pain cafe - low level pain management strategies delivered by pharmacist Social prescribing for community support (e.g. isolation, activity, financial advice, housing) Mental health and wellbeing check in Impartial HR/employment advice for managing sickness and return to employment Health coach offering health check lite focussing on physical lifestyle interventions (blood pressure check, weight management, smoking cessation, exercise referrals) Opportunities for cross-referral to relevant partner organisations will be explored where an identified need is recognised from service users. To be held in community venues twice a month at various locations across the North Tyneside and Northumberland localities, ensuring a wide geographical spread to improve access for residents in all areas of the boroughs. Service users will be able to choose a venue that is best accessible for them and would not need to attend in their respective locality only The successful applicant will provide light touch support to patients who are currently absent from employment due to a MSK related problem
