We are looking for a full-time, versatile and enthusiastic Stores Accounts Operative to join our customer facing logistics team. The successful candidate will fulfil a broad range of physical tasks to facilitate day-to-day logistics operations. The range of activities includes the accountability of specialist clothing, ordering, receipting and issuing, these activities will be conducted making use of MOD IT applications and in line with policy,

The candidate will have the professional capability to multi-task when and where needed, as required by the business.

A genuine, trustworthy, competent, and physically fit person, that has the ability to work independently and as part of a team. Confident, self-motivated, and able to use own initiative, highly responsive to company and customer requirements. Pro-active and consistent with the ability to adapt quickly to the different needs of the business and: Essential Skills & AttributesProven experience of working in a warehouse / stores environment.Review incoming deliveries of goods received against invoices for discrepancies.Conduct analysis of current stock holdings against future expectations. Experience of delivering good customer faced quality service and the ability to develop close working relationships.Actively promote a safe working culture and adhere to Health and Safety requirementsEffective interpersonal communication skillsFlexible approach to accommodate changing requirements and prioritiesIT Literate with a good working knowledge of MS applications.

Training will be provided were required.

Customer ServiceProvide excellent customer service to all clients, customers, and site personnel.Handle enquiries in person and via telephone professionally and efficiently.Manage customer complaints effectively and escalate where necessary.

Additional RequirementsMust meet MOD security vetting requirements and DBS Standard requiredMust provide proof of right to work in the UK.Required to wear issued company uniform.Flexible approach to support operational needs between core service hours.
