Are you an enthusiastic and dedicated educator looking to make a real impact on young minds?
We are seeking a motivated and inspiring Secondary Maths/Science Teacher to join our dynamic team and help shape the future of our children and young people.
This role is ideal for a Secondary Teacher with expertise in Maths, Science, or a combination of the two.
Applications will be considered from main pay scale and UPS candidates.
What you’ll be doing as a Secondary Maths/Science Teacher:
- Plan and deliver engaging Maths/Science lessons that support strong pupil progress
- Inspire students and ensure they gain essential skills and understanding
- Lead the development of Maths/Science across the school, including planning, resources, and curriculum improvement
- Support staff, direct classroom support, and contribute to training where needed
- Monitor teaching, learning, and assessment within the subject area
- Organise enrichment activities, including trips and visits
- Work with inclusion staff, SENDCo, and the Exams Officer where appropriate
- Act as a tutor and participate in school-wide development and INSET
What we’re looking for:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
- A qualification in SEND education is desirable.
- Experience of working with children with SEND and ASC is ideal but applications from those working in mainstream settings are very welcome.
- Experience in teaching Secondary curriculum (KS3, KS4)
- Strong classroom management skills and the ability to inspire and motivate children and young people.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- A commitment to continuous professional development and innovation in teaching methods.
