Summary
We’re hiring a Senior QA Manager with a strong pharmaceutical manufacturing background to join a growing business in North East England.
In this role, you’ll lead a small, multi‑site team of QA Managers and QA Officers who specialise in aseptic and sterile manufacturing.
➡️ Aseptic experience is essential - you’ll need to bring real credibility from day one.
If you don’t have hands‑on aseptics experience, we won’t be able to progress your application.
You’ll take responsibility for, and have oversight of the processes, policies and quality teams that ensure products are released safely, compliantly and on time, following cGMP, internal procedures and all relevant regulatory requirements.
You’ll also bring solid experience in:
Leading and developing QA teams
CAPA management
Managing batch release rates against SLAs
Right‑First‑Time (RFT) release performance
QMS governance
SOP oversight
Running multi‑site Quality Manager Review forums
Implementing and tracking continuous improvement projects
Understanding manufacturing technologies and software
Stability programme oversight
Working with suppliers and internal teams to assess new materials
This is an onsite role with some flexibility for home working.
Occasional travel to the Home Counties and Scotland should be expected.
You’ll be joining a supportive team, working with a highly respected leader, in a stable organisation with low turnover and a genuine career path.
Salary: £60,000 – £65,000 + Bonus + Package
Location: North East England
➡️Right to Work:
We cannot offer sponsorship. You must already be UK‑based with the right to work without visa support.
You must be able to work onsite in NE England.
