Summary

25 hours per week

Term Time Only (191 days per year), Monday to Friday (flexible hours to meet service needs)

Catering services is looking for a mobile cook to cover cooking duties in various Schools throughout Neath Port Talbot. Having your own transport is required for this post, which qualifies for the Council's casual car user allowance



You will be responsible for:

The ordering, preparation, cooking and service of meals.
Setting up of Servery Counter and service of food
Supervision of staff


You will be expected to have knowledge of the requirements in relation to preparation and cooking in large, as well as small numbers of meals for children.



You should also understand the relative application of cooking processes, HACCP, and comply with all Food Safety and Health and Safety Regulations and work to a high standard.

You should possess City and Guilds 706/1 and 2 or equivalent NVQ 2 and 3 Award in professional Catering. Also a Level 3 Award in Food Safety in Catering or equivalent.
