Shot Blasting & Powder Coating Operative.
Maldon Shot Blasting & Powder Coating Ltd – Maldon, Essex.
CM9 4ER
Full-time, Permanent, Immediate Start Available.
Hours: Monday – Thursday, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.; Friday, 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. (39-hour week)
Maldon Shot Blasting & Powder Coating Ltd is a well-established local business specialising in high-quality surface preparation and finishing for automotive, industrial, and domestic customers. We take pride in our workmanship, attention to detail, and friendly service, and we are looking for someone who shares those values.
About the Role.
We are seeking a motivated, practical individual to join our workshop team. Responsibilities include:
• Blasting metal components and car body shells.
• Preparing items for powder coating.
• Applying powder coatings to a high standard.
• Loading and unloading ovens and equipment.
• Maintaining a clean, safe working environment.
• Assisting with general workshop duties.
A forklift licence and a clean driving licence are preferred. Candidates must have strong communication skills to interact with clients and staff.
Please note that there is a one-month trial basis, and full training can be provided for the right candidate.
About You
• Hard-working, reliable, and punctual.
• Comfortable in a hands-on workshop environment.
• Able to follow strict processes and quality standards.
• Physically fit and capable of manual handling.
• A team player with a positive attitude.
Experience in shot blasting, powder coating, or similar trades would be beneficial but not essential.
