What is the job role?We are seeking an enthusiastic and caring Learning Support Assistant with an EYFS focus to join our dedicated team.
In this pivotal role, you will:
Support, motivate, and guide pupils to overcome barriers to learning and help them achieve their full potential
Work closely with teachers to create an inclusive environment where every child feels they belong
Deliver targeted interventions to enable all pupils to thrive academically, socially, and emotionally
Full Time - Term Time + Inset days
Fixed-term contract until 18th March 2027

Who are we looking for?We’re looking for someone who:
- Has paid experience working with Early Years children
- Is patient, calm, caring, and able to build trusting relationships with children, families, and staff.
- Has good communication skills and the ability to follow and adapt plans and strategies in collaboration with the teacher.
- Is reliable, proactive, flexible, and committed to inclusion.
- Holds, ideally, relevant qualifications (e.g. Level 2/3 in Early Years, or equivalent) or GCSEs or equivalents in English & Maths (or willing to work towards them, if required).
- Be a Team player and have high aspirations for children and yourself.
