What is the job role?

We are seeking an enthusiastic and caring Learning Support Assistant with an EYFS focus to join our dedicated team.

In this pivotal role, you will:

  • Support, motivate, and guide pupils to overcome barriers to learning and help them achieve their full potential

  • Work closely with teachers to create an inclusive environment where every child feels they belong

  • Deliver targeted interventions to enable all pupils to thrive academically, socially, and emotionally

Full Time - Term Time + Inset days

Fixed-term contract until 18th March 2027

Who are we looking for?

We’re looking for someone who:


  • Has paid experience working with Early Years children
  • Is patient, calm, caring, and able to build trusting relationships with children, families, and staff.
  • Has good communication skills and the ability to follow and adapt plans and strategies in collaboration with the teacher.
  • Is reliable, proactive, flexible, and committed to inclusion.
  • Holds, ideally, relevant qualifications (e.g. Level 2/3 in Early Years, or equivalent) or GCSEs or equivalents in English & Maths (or willing to work towards them, if required).
  • Be a Team player and have high aspirations for children and yourself.
