Your new company
A leading construction business is looking for a hands‑on Management Accountant to take ownership of day‑to‑day finance activity and deliver accurate reporting. This role suits someone proactive, detail‑driven and confident working independently.
Your new role
- Manage POPs & SOPs
- Process and chase supplier invoices
- Enter petty cash and supplier transactions
- Prepare and run supplier payments
- Process payroll & post wage journals
- Administer pensions
- Prepare and submit monthly CIS
- Produce cash flow forecasts & monthly P&L
- Analyse costs and identify savings
- Complete VAT returns & bank reconciliations
- Assess credit applications & complete company checks
- Manage stock control
- Prepare product, factory and project costings
- Support project financial tracking
- Assist with system updates & daily backups
What you'll need to succeed
- 5+ years' experience in a Management Accountant role
- Construction sector background - essential
- Strong CIS knowledge - mandatory
- Confident user of Sage Line 50
- Advanced Excel (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP)
- High accuracy and strong organisational skills
- Comfortable working independently and managing multiple deadlines
