Customer Service Representative
Location: Portbury, Bristol
Salary: £25,000 – £27,000 per year (depending on experience)
Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30am – 5:00pm
Contract: Full-time, permanent

Benefits
£25,000 – £27,000 salary depending on experience

25 days annual leave plus UK bank holidays (33 days total)

Office closes over the Christmas period

We are looking for a reliable and customer-focused Customer Service Representative to join a small, friendly team based in Portbury.

This is a fully office-based role where you will play a key part in supporting customers and the sales team by handling phone calls, emails, and sales orders, while delivering a high level of customer service at all times.


The Role
You will be responsible for:

Answering incoming customer calls and emails in a prompt and professional manner

Processing sales orders received from customers and the external sales team

Taking ownership of customer enquiries and resolving them where possible

Liaising with internal departments to ensure queries are resolved efficiently

Providing ongoing support to the sales team and sales managers

Updating and maintaining customer records and CRM systems

Managing your own workload and diary effectively

Handling challenging customer conversations calmly and professionally


What We’re Looking For
Previous experience in a customer service or office-based role

Confident and professional telephone manner

Strong communication and organisational skills

Positive, proactive attitude and a reliable approach to work

Ability to work independently and as part of a small team

Good IT skills, including Microsoft Office

Experience with CRM or MRP systems is an advantage, but not essential
